A modern and versatile material, quartz is a man-made product suitable for many applications from kitchen worktops to bathroom vanities and much more. Made using crushed quartz, polymers, resins and pigments pressed into sheets quartz is often light or white in colour and available in a wide range of designs. From marble vein effects emulating natural marbles such as Calacatta and Carrara to swirls and reflective mirror flecks there is a quartz design suitable for every project.
Globally there are many branded and unbranded manufacturers of quartz and the material produced can vary greatly in quality of both the material structure and design. With quality and value for money as our guide we have worked quartz from many different sources to find the perfect balance so that we can offer our customers a comprehensive but not overwhelming range of quartz with design options to suit every budget.
We understand the importance of achieving the perfect finish using quality materials whilst working within the project budget. We work with branded manufacturers Caesarstone, CRL Quartz, Arenastone and Nile, all market leaders for innovative design. We also work with unbranded manufactures to create a competitive ‘Trade’ range consisting of five carefully selected designs that we can offer at our most competitive price without compromising on quality.
Samples of the full ranges of all our brands including Caesarstone and CRL Quartz brands are available to view in our showroom alongside our own trade range of quartz. Book your appoint today and visit our showroom.
All our quartz suppliers offer a limited warranty covering their complete ranges to give peace of mind when purchasing from their trusted manufacturing partners.
Quartz is very easy to care for and keep clean. Warm soapy water and most low acidity cleaning solutions will take care of day to day cleaning tasks but Ciff cream is also an invaluable product to have in the cupboard making the removal of dried coffee cup rings and spicy food spillages achievable, even on a plain white quartz surface.
There is only one major difference between the man made quartz materials and natural alternatives such as granite and marble and that is heat resistance. Some quartz manufacturers say it is fine to put hot dishes straight onto the surface from the oven but in our experience this is not always the case. Much of the components of quartz are not heat resistant so, with this in mind, we advise all our customers to avoid putting hot pans and dishes directly on the surface.
